Introduction
Welcome to the Simply Blood Community.
Simply Blood exists to help save lives by connecting blood donors, blood seekers, hospitals, blood banks, NGOs, volunteers, and communities.
Every interaction on the Platform should reflect our core values:
- Humanity
- Respect
- Trust
- Honesty
- Safety
- Privacy
- Inclusion
- Accountability
These Community Guidelines apply to every user, organization, partner, volunteer, ambassador, moderator, and administrator using Simply Blood.
Violations may result in content removal, temporary restrictions, account suspension, permanent removal, or reporting to relevant authorities where appropriate.
1. Our Community Values
We encourage users to:
- Help others genuinely.
- Treat everyone with dignity.
- Be respectful in communication.
- Protect people's privacy.
- Share truthful information.
- Encourage voluntary blood donation.
- Support verified information.
- Report suspicious activity.
- Build a positive community.
2. Respect Every Person
Treat every user with respect regardless of:
- age
- gender
- religion
- nationality
- language
- disability
- caste
- race
- ethnicity
- sexual orientation
- blood group
- medical condition
- economic background
- Healthy disagreements are acceptable.
- Personal attacks are not.
3. Be Honest
Always provide truthful information.
Never:
- fake your identity
- fake your blood group
- fake a blood request
- fake a donation
- fake certificates
- fake hospital documents
- fake NGO affiliations
- impersonate another person
- misrepresent your organization
- Trust is the foundation of Simply Blood.
4. Blood Requests
Create blood requests only when genuinely needed.
Every request should include accurate information.
Update the request when:
- blood has been arranged
- the patient no longer requires blood
- the request was created in error
- details change significantly
Avoid creating duplicate requests for the same requirement unless specifically instructed by Simply Blood or a verified organization.
5. Blood Donations
Blood donation must always be:
- voluntary
- legal
- respectful
- medically supervised
Never:
- pressure someone into donating
- donate using false information
- claim donations that never happened
- encourage unsafe donation practices
- bypass medical screening
Medical professionals always make the final decision regarding donor eligibility.
6. No Buying or Selling Blood
Simply Blood has zero tolerance for commercial blood trading.
Never use the Platform to:
- sell blood
- buy blood
- charge donors
- request commissions
- broker blood donations
- advertise commercial blood procurement
- exploit emergency situations for profit
- If you encounter such activity, report it immediately.
7. Privacy Matters
Respect everyone's privacy.
Do not share another person's:
- phone number
- address
- government ID
- medical reports
- laboratory reports
- hospital records
- personal conversations
- financial information
- photographs without permission
- Only upload information that you have permission to share.
8. Communication
Communicate respectfully.
Allowed:
- coordinating donations
- asking relevant questions
- expressing gratitude
- providing updates
- offering support
Not allowed:
- abusive language
- harassment
- threats
- intimidation
- discrimination
- repeated unwanted messages
- offensive jokes
- sexually explicit messages
9. Stories
Stories inspire others.
Share stories that are:
- genuine
- respectful
- educational
- motivational
- accurate
Avoid:
- exaggeration
- misinformation
- revealing confidential medical details
- publishing someone's story without consent
10. Photos and Videos
Only upload media that:
- belongs to you, or
- you have permission to use.
Avoid uploading:
- graphic medical images
- disturbing photographs
- explicit injuries
- deceased individuals
- copyrighted content without permission
- misleading edited images
- Simply Blood may blur, restrict, or remove sensitive content.
11. Community Discussions
Community discussions should remain constructive.
Encourage:
- blood donation awareness
- healthcare education
- donation experiences
- event participation
- volunteer initiatives
Avoid discussions intended primarily to provoke conflict or distract from the Platform's purpose.
12. Reviews and Ratings
Leave reviews that are:
- honest
- factual
- respectful
- based on genuine experiences
Do not:
- threaten users with negative reviews
- exchange reviews for rewards
- submit fake reviews
- manipulate ratings
13. AI-Generated Content
Simply Blood may offer AI-assisted features.
If you publish AI-assisted content:
- review it before sharing
- ensure it is accurate
- avoid presenting AI output as professional medical advice
- correct errors when identified.
Users remain responsible for the content they publish, regardless of whether AI assisted in its creation.
14. Misinformation
Do not share information that may mislead users regarding:
- blood donation
- blood compatibility
- medical treatment
- emergency care
- public health
- Simply Blood services
Where appropriate, rely on verified sources and qualified healthcare professionals.
15. Hate Speech and Discrimination
Content that attacks or demeans individuals or groups based on protected characteristics is prohibited.
This includes:
- hate speech
- discriminatory slurs
- calls for violence
- dehumanizing language
- promotion of extremist ideologies
16. Violence and Dangerous Content
Do not post content that:
- promotes violence
- encourages self-harm
- glorifies criminal activity
- instructs users to break the law
- encourages unsafe medical practices.
17. Spam and Promotions
Do not use Simply Blood to:
- send spam
- advertise unrelated businesses
- repeatedly post the same content
- manipulate engagement
- promote unauthorized fundraising
- collect user data for marketing.
Promotional activities may only be conducted with prior authorization from Simply Blood.
18. Fraud
Examples of prohibited fraud include:
- fake donor profiles
- fake organizations
- fake blood requests
- forged certificates
- identity theft
- document manipulation
- reward abuse
- impersonation.
Fraud may result in immediate account termination and referral to law enforcement where appropriate.
19. Reporting Problems
If you see content or behavior that violates these Guidelines, report it through the Platform.
Reports may include:
- fake requests
- fake donors
- harassment
- privacy violations
- abuse
- fraud
- spam
- inappropriate content
- We review reports as quickly as reasonably possible.
20. Enforcement
Depending on the seriousness of the violation, Simply Blood may:
- remove content
- issue warnings
- temporarily limit features
- suspend accounts
- revoke verification
- permanently remove accounts
- remove rewards or badges obtained through misuse
- report unlawful conduct to relevant authorities.
Enforcement decisions are based on the severity, frequency, intent, and potential impact of the violation.

21. Appeals
If you believe enforcement action was taken in error, you may submit an appeal through the Platform.
Appeals should include any relevant information that may assist in our review.
Submitting an appeal does not guarantee that a previous decision will be changed.
22. Changes to These Guidelines
These Community Guidelines may be updated periodically to reflect:
- Platform improvements
- changes in law
- new community features
- safety improvements
- operational requirements.
Material changes will become effective upon publication or as otherwise communicated.
