Our Privacy Philosophy

Simply Blood is built on the principle of “Privacy by Design”. We do not sell your data, and we do not broadcast your contact information to the public.

Information We Collect

• For Seekers: Basic contact details and emergency request data (patient name, hospital, blood group, units needed).
• For Donors: Blood group, health eligibility history, and real-time location data (only when the app is active) to find nearby requests.
• For Institutions: Organizational credentials and verification documents for NGOs and Blood Banks.

Data Usage & Sharing

• Identity Shielding: Your phone number is hidden from the public feed.
• Selective Disclosure: Your contact details are only revealed to a seeker once you explicitly tap “I Can Donate” and use an active “Acceptance Slot”.
• Tree Planting: We share only necessary, non-identifiable donation confirmation data with our NGO partners to facilitate the planting of your tree.

Data Security

All communications between donors and seekers are handled via an encrypted in-app interface to prevent external harvesting of user data.
